Project Description: In an ongoing effort to revitalize the Borough, the Borough Council with the assistance of C.S. Davidson, Inc., successfully pursued several federal grants to increase the safety of pedestrians, control storm water, and improve the appearance of the Borough's street scape. Berlin Street represents the latest of the Borough's efforts to revitalize the four main thoroughfares through Jefferson. Three and a half blocks of curb, sidewalk and parking lane along Berlin Street were completely reconstructed as a result of this project. Curbing and drainage improvements were incorporated into the project in order to carry storm water directly to a nearby creek. |
