Project Description: C.S. Davidson, Inc. is providing all survey and design services for the replacement of this 86' long truss structure. C.S. Davidson has obtained final approvals from the York County Conservation District, PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and the PA Historical and Museum Commission. The historical recordation of the existing structure is complete and structural design is in progress. A public meeting was held to review the conceptual plans with residents and public officials. The north approach and nearby intersection with Big Conewago Road will be reconstructed to improve the roadway geometry and visibility at this site. The proposed bridge and roadway will be 30 feet wide compared to the 12'-6" width of the existing bridge. |
