Project Description: Fairmount Park is centrally located in the Borough of Red Lion, PA. During the summer of 1996, C.S. Davidson, Inc. designed a new steel finished water reservoir, to replace an aging concrete structure at the same location. The location of the structure had to be coordinated with a planned community library to be located immediately adjacent to the new reservoir, including evaluation of the potential effect of future excavation on the reservoir foundation. In addition, there were significant complications involving land title issues and coordination of construction with the adjacent park and Community Building, both of which remained in full operation. |
