Project Description: C.S. Davidson, Inc. provided survey and design services for the reconstruction of the plaza area of the northeast quadrant of the square. The square is at the intersection of the Lincoln Highway (Route 30) and two other state highways. C.S. Davidson, Inc. obtained approval from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and assisted with coordinating the curb and crosswalk construction with PennDOT's paving of the entire square. All of the curb and crosswalk borders are Mt. Airy granite to match the previously completed quadrants and the center circle. Traffic impacts were minimized by constructing the crosswalks at night. Ornamental street lights and benches were added to complete the project. |
