Project Description: C.S. Davidson, Inc. acted as the owner's sole technical support from the conception to completion of the project. Services provided were survey of existing conditions, all aspects of design, specifications and contract document preparation and construction management services. In total, the construction included major reconstruction of ten bridges (7 one-span, 2 four-span, and 1 five-span) along the trail.

The owner requested a recreational pathway for non-motorized use adjacent to the existing active railway. The successful completion of the Heritage Rail Trail in August, 1999 resulted in a 21.1 mile linear park that stretches from the Maryland State Line to the City of York.
