Project Description: The Hollow Creek wastewater treatment facility is a 700,000 gallon per day sequencing batch reactor (SBR) wastewater treatment plant serving four municipalities (Springfield Township, Seven Valleys Borough, Loganville Borough, and Jacobus Borough). The planning of the system was done to address the sewerage needs of the Township for a 20 year planning period.

Residents were adamantly opposed to plans to site a wastewater treatment plant in their midst, but their concerns were allayed by relocating the plant one half mile upstream and disguising it as a typical Pennsylvania house and barn.
