Project Description: C.S. Davidson, Inc. has entered into an Engineering Agreement with Spring Grove Borough and Spring Area School District to develop design drawings and specifications to modernize this poorly configured intersection.
C. S. Davidson, Inc. has teamed with Transportation Resource Group, Inc.,
and Kittleson & Associates, Inc. to meet the challenge of
improving traffic safety and flow. The proposed traffic
configuration, which mitigates difficult roadway geometry and
copious tractor trailer and school bus traffic, includes a
modern roundabout.
Upon approval of the design and specifications by the owner and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the project will be bid and constructed by Pennsylvania Department
of Transportation. Upon completion, maintenance of of the
central island will be the responsibility of Spring Grove Borough. |
