Project Description: York County constructed a 7-story, 330,000 square foot Judicial Center at North George and Philadelphia Streets in the City of York. The building houses 12 courtrooms and all County departments related to the court system such as Prothonotary, Sheriff, Clerk of Courts, Domestic Relations, Adult and Juvenile Probation, Public Defender, District Attorney, and the Law Library.
C. S. Davidson, Inc. provided consulting services during the initial blue-ribbon courthouse site selection committee deliberations and prepared, with the Chief Clerk/Administrator, a more comprehensive space utilization program for all downtown County operations. Construction was completed in 2003.
